Well since no one else has really posted much here lately I'll throw something up about the Trooper. Getting her ready for the new interior, all the seats, the fabric on the door panels, sunvisors, and the roof are going to be covered in charcol and black suede (I decided not tot do the Gucci interior as it would be kinda tacky). System has also been completely removed for a revamp: two more monitors in the headrests, new speakers all around (if I can get my Rainbows fixed for a decent price they are going back in the front and a matching component set for the rear), new 4channel amp to drive the speakers, new subs (but still 4 10" woofers, in all new smaller, sealed, fiberglass or similar enclosures covered in suede as well I think), a more permanent install for the Xbox. All the blue LEDs and neon from back in grade 10 (man that's like 6 years ago lol) have been taken out, any electrical aftermarket accessory as either been or is being rewired or removed completely, I must have pulled like 300 feet of wire out of the car lol. Looking at building a custom piggyback computer and systems display for the ECU and TCM (looking through the shop manual for the Trooper reveals huge numbers of sensors, my car has a G sensor built in does yours lol) I'd like to be able to see and modify some system parameters, I've already built a basic hardware platform for the piggyback computer using Analog Devices ADSp533 Blackfin processor at 750MHz, and have got my ECU taken apart and ripped the machine code off of it and ran it through a dissassembler, haven't analyzed much of it yet since I could only get so much into assembly code.

my car comes out of the shop this week completely re-painted with shaved doors and body kit installed! the shaved door kit comes in the mail this week too, along with a compustar alarm/RS....thanks CUB3D!!
other than that, i am making a set of custom clear headlights, as well as installing my ps2 into the centre console, which will all be fiberglassed as well.....
lambo door kit gets shipped out at the end of this week....im also going to be making my own carbon fiber interior pieces, oh and Aerogear is also sending me my CF hood and front splitter by next week!:bowdown: :bowdown: |

I got them from Autotemp cause I know a guy there and got a smoking deal on them (most places sell them for US$225, I got them for far less then that), they are Nesa monitors and look fucking dope, the picture quality is really nice on it. Sure I could have saved a few bucks and gone the Ebay route and yes in reality raw LCD screens are made by only a few major Japanese and Korean manufacturers and then sold to other companies who brand them and build driver circuits and signal processing circuits for them, that's where the quality differences arise. I'd recommend the Nesa ones for sure though. I was playing Xbox on them for a few hours testing them out haha. tearing the roof and door panels out today for sueding :D
Oh yeah there was/is lots of Red Bull involved in this project, you can see two in that picture and there is probably like 25 empties in the recycle bin in my gargae just from this project lol.
Picking up an Alpine V12 5 channel amp to drive my mids and highs tommorow, now I need to settle on some new speakers, the Rainbows aren't economically feasible to have shipped back to germany to be repaired :( |

and as for the car show scene, i have laid em all out and planned for everyone, there is about 10....there is 3 in calgary, 3 here, and 2 in edmonton, and the first one im doing is in regina from april 23-25.....i am doing that one because one of my sponsors is located out there, and i will be in their booth etc, it'll be a blast! other than that, they are scattered well throughout the summer, so i cant wait!
update- i do get my car back by the end of this week, but we arent shaving the doors right now, shitty i know, but for inspection reasons we arent confident it will pass inspection, but i have all the shaved door kit n actuators in the mail so it will be done eventually.....as soon as i ge the car back im gonna spend most of the weekend decaling. i got lots of sponsorship stuff to do, but NOTHING is touching the fresh paint, they are all gonna be on the windows....i think i am going to come to calgary next weekend. wanna go to red deer for a night chris? maybe sat night?? i wanna get out there again and visit some people...u down for a cruise? |

Yo Shan man, that project looks sick already man, iv never seen the trooper ripped up that much. but once its all done its going to look so awsome man, you love your trooper so much with all the work put into it, but its defintly a pimpin ride.
And Dax dawg man the sunfire, all i hear is im doing this then next week im doing this, is there going to ever be a time when the sunfire can take a break from being worked on, or what man, theres always something new that your going to through into your car isnt there. buts its sweet man, just get it out of the shop and on the streets.
As for my new ride, its doing really nice on the streets, im proud of the purchase for sure. Dax youll have to see it soon one day man. I wish I had money and time that I could work on my car like you two do, cause I would make my car so much faster with a sweet body kit on it. Maybe one day in the future ill be able to do a lot of stuff to it, just like you boys.
It will be sweet to see your boyz rides when all finished with everything, so keep the post on how the rides are coming along.

Fuel Pump, r33 GTR seats, Competition clutch (sprung hub) rated for 500 foot pounds, Z32 MAF, Blitz Type 03 wheels with new z rated rubber, 4 pt. harnesses, Tein HA coilovers, Apex rear tower brace, drift pineapples (subframe bushings), HKS GT3037s (56 trim) turbo rated for 520 ps, greddy profec B spec 2 boost controller, HKS wastegate, HKS downpipe, HKS intake piping, HKS stainless steel exhaust manifold, 660cc injectors, water temp, oil pressure, fuel pressure and airfuel gauges, and then im not 100% sure what im doing as far as tuning yet....either power fc or greddy e-manage with the injector and ignition harness....i havent decided yet.
All that combined with the HKS exhaust and bov i have, and greddy intercooler and it should make for a quick car.....
Also the intercooler pipes and valvecovers are getting chromed, trust shift knob, eclipse head unit with MB quart component set and an amp which has to be bought....maybe one 10 inch sub...we'll see, and also window tint will be getting done. |

| While furiously modding in order to get Troopy done for DTP I've started various other mods that came to me as good ideas while doing some other mod. So today when taking apart the rear seats for reaphoulstry, the rear armrest screamed mod me at me, so I took it apart cut out some of the foam that makes it up and have started making a mold for the two rear remote controls for the headrest screens, this will be finished as a recessed FG piece painted to match the outside of the truck, I ahve waaayyy to much time on my hands :D Pics will follow in the next few days, once I glass it up, and decide if anything else will go in there as well. Oh you'll only see this when the armrest is down to :D |

4x4 unfortuneately, and i dunno about the price of bags. Im not that rich, i might just do a 6" drop, try to pick up some rims in a 19" or bigger, in dash dvd screen, as far as audio goes im gonna try to pick up some 15" strokers or something and make pimp box in the back aswell as full component set up. Holy crap man a 6" static drop. That's pretty damn low, I don't know the numbers for that truck but I think with a 6" drop you're probably looking at putting 18"s on, maybe 19"s but you'd probably have to rock rediculously low pro tires, with that kinda drop don't go too low on tire profile cause the ride will be really rough.
When you say pimp box in the back do you mean loud as fuck box or a tight looking box? 15" Strokers are redicolous, I frankly wouldn't use them unless you plan on competing, DB Drag style. I'd seriously recommend a pair of 12"s or some 10"s (I'm rocking 4 10"s right now and 2 yrs ago with them I was 2nd loudest DB Drag Street B vehicle in Canada, in a huge fucking box though, however in their new sealed boxes they are nice and tight for music). I can build you a loud as fuck box if that's the route you're wanting to go but it'll be big and bulky.
For screens, I'd say go with a Clarion or Pioneer. Buy it used if you're lokoing to save cahs, they don;t hold value terribly well. Pioneer AVIC-N1 or the N2 is now out :bthumbup: But bring $$$ for the N2. If you're going full component setup but want decent sound at relatively cheap prices see if you can find a place that sells Hertz Audio, made by Audsion (they make sick sick amps). Audio Concepts mobile up here is the only place in Calgary to get them, however there's prolly a few sites that sell it online. Linky: Hertz AV.
Those are just my ideas though, and if I ahve one piece of advice for the audio system is: DON'T TOUCH ALPINE, I personally can not stand they way their speakers sound and I'm not a huge fan of their decks either, overpriced for what you get.
Oh and for your wheels I'm not sure if you have auto locking hubs on the front of your ride but if you do you'll probably need something with a 110mm centre bore (usaul is like 75mm), and with a center cap that will accomodate the hub sticking out. Again not sure if this applies to the Jimmy or not. | I got me a pair of suede front seats :D Well still need to do the armrests and headrests before I put them back in and mount the XBox and DVD changer under the seats before I put them back in. Oh and Isuzu designed the stupidest rear headrests in the world, I had to use the dremal to saw parts of metal off to get the headrests out, fucking Japanese engineers make things too good lol. |

As requested, here's an updated picture of the Trooper. Taken yesterday, in the process of getting ready to lay the back of the sub boxes into place. Theses pieces were fiberglassed today. The supports made of 2x8"s back there are for the amps, obviously these will be covered up with glass once I lay the top area down. Can't really describe what I'm going after here but I know what I want and I'm working towards it haha. Big pic I know..

Chris bud, the rides looking like its coming together nicely, hopefully ill be able to see it all finished this weekend. Im heading out to my cabin on saturday morning, so depending on the time that the car show starts i might be able to drop by and check out your rides for a little while.
