I, and 2 others, have bought all sorts of Teriyaki sauces and can't duplicate it....
We can duplicate everything else, and it tastes good with different Teriyaki sauces, but it's missing something.... |

You can get a something very close called "thick teriyaki" from Safeway or Supertore.
It comes in a black blottle, thick on the bottom and narrows down to a small, tall top. I can't remember the brand name but it's one of those generic "oriental" lables that bottle every thing from Soy Sauce to Sweet & Sour Sauce. |

Yes, it is labled "Thick Teriyaki" and the brand is Golden Dragon.
I was at the Clearview Safeway today and they did not have any. But they did have something labled "Stir Fry Teriyaki" from VH brand that looked thick. |
