FYI, the header is for base not SH

98Luder
yes it's for a base, i'm not sure what the differences are, could be lenght, i can find out if you like.

underdog 23
damn, i checked my car and it has longer collector to accomodate the atts:mad: i guess im stuck with a crappy dc.

98Luder
You guys know that the DC sports header, collector is smaller than stock right?
Thats' why it never made any kind of sense to why someone would purchase DCsports?
I believe the manifold section maybe designed better/possibly?
but the downpipe is terrible. I have comparisons shots of
DC vs JDM OEM vs Mugen...man you should see it
Mugen and JDM OEM is almost the same
USDM OEM is smaller than that
and DCsports is EVEN SMALLER

keep that in mind when youguys buy headers next.

underdog 23
but what if i modify the collector to 2.250 inches, would that give me good gains? and do i really need that flex area of the collector? and if i do where would i buy those?

that's why you just buy a turbo mani and call it a day....gl with the sale James.

98Luder
Yea if you have the DCsports header i'd recommend to hack it up, but make sure you find someone to weld it, flex materail is a good idea in case it snaps your header in to, OEM engine mounts allow the engine to torque around quite a bit. I've driven around the block without the hood for fun and you should see. Each time you shift that engine rocks back and forth quite a bit. Imagine when your racing and your shifting hard at 8000rpm, i'm guessing there should be a lot of harsh movement. If you need info where to get flex pipe let me know.

Either i sell the Mugen ehader or i don't it really doesn't matter to me. My car is slow now, it's pretty much all stock now.

GQsmooth
btw, why are you selling it?

underdog 23
well , of course i am but i was so excited that i forgot i have an sh model. so all is left is to modify collector. unless u have an idea that would enable me to use that header:dunno: and yes james i need info on flex pipe ,would be much appreciated.

98Luder
i just needed money, if it sells it sells
if it doesn't..then i use it :)
heh....it really doesn't matter to me :):dunno:

check this stuff for flexpipes
