Dyno'd my car lastnight - Click HERE for Original Thread

Keith303
After putting on enough miles after my rebuild I took it down to apex lastnight to get it tuned via Blain.

Initial run untunned @ 11 psi 176 whp 190 wtrq

took multiple runs to get the boost set and let the car cool as it was heatsoaking pretty good on the stock smic.

best run 244whp 261 wtrq @17-18 psi , could of possibly been abit higher if the shitty MBC wasnt dropping off.

It feels alot faster now with a much smoother A/F ratio throughout.

With Fmic and 3" exhaust should be around 290whp

Thx alot to blain for tuning it, aswell as apex for the dyno:bthumbup:

What are you using to tune?

Keith303
Safc-II and GM-MAFT, I woulda had my datalogger but it wasnt letting me laod the softwear on it.

ChromeDragon
Nice gains! All that power in that car should get you moving quite nicely.

I would really like to know what you need to custom tune one's ride, and approx. how much it costs.
I know I will be wanting to do that on my wheels within the next year or two.

Blaine at Pro Drag did Keith's tuning and such - why not consult with him (He's a sponser of the board - and has a sub forum in the Marketplace) and see what he'll charge?

Thanks!

Your not the same guy who dynoed the eclipse on sat are you? Some guy had a hell of a time with boost leaks in his system and a fuel shutoff problem. Man I would hate to be him with so many problems .

That was me, but all the problems are being resolved during this week, then back to the dyno it goes. Still made 320 fwhp.:D And looking for more.

Keith303
I dynoed it on thusday, just so happends my boostcontroller route was fucked up so it took like 5 runs to get things right.

whats your total mods kirill. gj on the 320:bthumbup:

Hehe yea, I saw man, you could run anywhere from like 14 to 19 psi of boost and you still ran 300 hp.

Same as yours i think except for the front mount, and 3" turbo back.
So far i gained 24 whp, and 28wtq, from adding an s-afc, and retuning my car from Blaines tuning. As soon as the leaks and such get worked out i will go back and make more power, and still stay in the 12:1 air/fuel. All this on 91 octane, and 20 psi of boost, instead of 21 or 22 from last years tuning. Gotta keep it reliable for daily driving.

Nice numbers! Where does the power start to come on? Can you scan the sheet?

Keith303
I also have a small 16g, I may upgrade to a evoIII next year.

261 tq was at about 3600rpm

Kirill
I got the evo 3.
