Hey man welcome to the forums :)

As for not wanting to get ripped off...but wanting to get something showy for cheap, you may want to look into "making" your own chrome wheels.

I'm referring to getting them chrome dipped.

That way you can choose a wheel with a design you like and buying a non-chrome wheel is MUCH cheaper than buying a full on chromey.
I believe dipping a rim isn't cheap either (compared to say, powdercoating) but it is the only way I know of that can get you a chrome wheel for the least amount of money.

There should be some other members on this forum that know where you can get wheels dipped, as I have no clue :dunno:

Is there any places here that will let you try on a rim before making your decision? I was even thinking perhaps EBAYING it up... but im not sure if i buy off ebay if the rim will be what i want it to be... :(

I don't know of any places that would let you mount a rim before buying it.
Not many shops keep many chrome wheels in stock and if they do, they won't have tires on them.

It would look strange either way if you mounted a bare rim on your car while it was jacked up.

Just got to use your imagination...OR, get a SIDE PROFILE digital picture of your car, get a head on shot of the rim (so you see the entire circle of the rim) and ask someone to photoshop it onto your car.

Have you checked out the factory jaguar rims available? its quite the selecton... expensive... but if you own a jaguar.....

KeNz
where do u check out the factory rims?
i take it into the dealership all the time and they are usless

You might want to ask someone at your dealership for an accessories book. I recieved one that had everything from paper weights to steering wheels. I even recieved a brochure just on the wheels themselves.
