| True, but didn't they complain because they thought they were getting a luxury car, when in fact they're buying a racing machine? :dunno: |

| I'd think the 10 mpg would make it a difficult enough daily driver. But yes, I have read that the GT is quite a trick to get moving. |

How many GT's have you driven?I have spoken to a few owners and all of them have said that that this is not true.In the first week of driving the car yeah it was a bit of a problem because of the engagement point and how quickly the engine revs after that none have complained. One of the guys is even selling his Ferrari Challenge Stradale(which has an auto tranny) because he can't find time to drive it because he spends to much time in the Carrera GT. |

The CGT clutch can be difficult for some people when they start out, but every thing I've read says it just takes a bit of getting used to.
There is a feature that if you don't use the gas pedal as you let out the clutch, the computer will open the throttle the propper ammount to get the car moving. Aparently as long as you are smooth letting out the clutch it's quite easy. |

i never once claimed to drive one i have just read many reviews and talked to a few people who have test driven them. They say the hill start feature doesnt work as well as it should and complain that the car is like driving a triple plate on the sreet.
But yes if they bought the car as a luxury car instead of a sports car which it was then they are asking for the troubles. |

Come on now. If you owned a car like that would you care about petty shit like gas mileage? |

That would make it pretty much on-par with the RX-8 |

True enough. I was trying to say, this isn't the sort of car even the uber rich use as a daily driver. |

A dodge cummins does just that and so does the rig I drive and it defenitly helps out and I think it is about time some one put that in a car.
There is alot of ppl out there who have money and well they think there educated enough about cars but really aren't enough, even thoses who are Mechanically inclinded make a wrong choice or badly misjudge what they were getting into.
I myself know that if I were to ever buy a car like that I would have no choice but to race it and rarly drive it on the roads cause of the condition our streets are in.
Man that thing would disintegrate so fast up here if you drove it to much and would be the main reason I would never get one...or two... |
