Where is a good place to get paint jobs done? I heard Maaco is not very good. I am planning on painting a 91 Acura Integra. How much would it cost?

any neccesary body work, the level of preparation, the kind of paint and clear coat, and the extent of what's being painted make this a hard question to ask.

sand it down to metal, prime and paint? rough and respray? pearl in the paint?

i'd expect to start at $2000 for a thorough job.

Well price if I sand everything down myself? And if i dont?

If you do the prep work you won't find any reputable shop that will give you a warranty on your paint job.

The prep work is the biggest factor in determining the outcome of the paintjob. I can spray a car in 45 minutes, but it takes me a month of prep/body work....

Also I would suggest doing a search, because this topic has been brought up many times before.;)
