The Edmonton Rally Club is looking into a Rally Car Construction Project. If you are interested in owning a rally car, but don't know the first thing about building one, this might be up your alley.
I've got a stock 95 Dodge Neon Sport Coupe coming from Ontario. Once it gets here, it will be for sale, for the exact same price as it cost me, probably in the $2100 range (which will still be about 2/3 the price that a 95 Neon Sport Coupe sells for in Edmonton).
If you come look at it, like it and buy it, the club will have some car construction nights, where we'll all get together and show the new people how to build a rally car. You supply (or pay for) the necessary rally parts, and the club will do the labour.
The 95 Sport Coupe makes an excellent rally car. Front Wheel Drive, 150 HP fuel injected twincam, racing-geared 5 spd tranny, 4 wheel disk brakes, 4 wheel independent suspension, front and rear sway bars. It would be very competitive in the Production 3 class.
