I don't feel like using google because you guys are much more knowledgeable...

I need to know what year the Silvia S14 was introduced into the market, the variants, and some basic specs of the stock car, motor, transmission, so on and so forth, that would great

google works for me...

S14:
In fall 1994 the new model of the 200SX, S14, was introduced in Sweden. In Japan and many other countries it came to be called the Silvia, but Sweden stays with the name 200SX. The model is equiped with the SR20DET-engine with 200 bhp. HICAS is only available in Japan. In december of 1996 the model is facelifted which consist in for example, a longer bonnet and headlights which narrows towards the grill. This model is called the S14a or S141. In Sweden the S14 is only imported on demand. The model is available untill 1999/2000

the JDM S14 has a different intake manifold design and variable valve timing. This is good for approx. 225HP and 202 pounds of torque. These SR20DET's were all black tops. only available with 5spd. the S15 (approx. 1999) had 250HP and a 6spd. The S14 has a limited slip diff. 5 lug hubs, larger brakes, compared to the S13. I don't know about options such as interior or 4wheel steering etc.
hope that helps!

 Simply put, you're going to have to find all the information here. Your question is pretty broad and if you're really interested in the car, personal research is the best way to learn.

:p Don't think that we're ALL knowing here, most of us may know more than the average person, but when going into car specifics you could easily end up with bad information.

I'm sure that with the S14 and many other cars, there are different specs for each market, whether it be USDM, JDM, Aus spec or euro spec, etc.

I'm planning to buy an S14 when it becomes legal, so about 4 years ish the WRX will be well on its way to being paid off and I'll have enough income to support another car assuming I don't get a girlfriend.

CanadianR
aren't you getting a little ahead of yourself? You don't even own a WRX yet, do you? You know the old saying, gotta learn to walk before you can run! Hey, doing research is a great idea, but you are looking two cars and four years ahead of where you are now.

DeathBy240
A few S14 owners and a few SR20DET owners on n-e-c-c.com if you have more questions.

mr_sars
:p You sound like you're getting way too far ahead of yourself. Enjoy the things you have right now, a brand new STI is easily around 40K and I'd personally put a fair bit of money into finding a good S14 as well.

If you find a way to pay off a STI in four years and manage to get a S14 AND pay off every little expense like bills, accidents, girlfriends, etc. Let me know!!!!

Give nissansilvia a try, but at times people can be quite harsh and point you towards the search button and or google like i did.
