| Blown down tube, must be mounted securely and properly, and no pressure gauge in the dash. |

Atleast not a mechanical gauge. Electric would still be fine. |

That about covers it.
If I see a ghetto install in the trunk then I wouldn't let you race.
Obvious things, leaky lines, anything loose, potential hazards, etc. |

Mechanical means a nitrous line is routed to the gauge where the sensor is. Electrical means the sensor is mounted remotely (ie at the bottle) and wires are run to the gauge.
If something goes wrong with the mechanical one, it could vent right in front of you, as opposed to having it vent in the trunk like with the electrical one. |

| Just check to see how many power adders the class you plan on running allows? |

On the street, it is legal to have a nitrous bottle but you can't have it connected.
Basically, you can't use it on the street. You can use it at the track but it has to be disconnected to and from the track or else your a$$ is gra$$. |

| Just curious what law that would fall under? And what penalties would be expected? |

As far as street goes, I thought the rules were, it had to be mounted upright
(some law about compressed gas or something I honestly don't know) and there can be no nitrous in the lines, dunno how they would check that.... I'm probably wrong though...
Word of advice, if you have it, perhaps not having a red button on your steering wheel would save you the hassel of it being found and having to explain your set up to the cops? |

I thought the rule is that if the bottle is not in the passenger compartment no blow-down tube is required? My bottle is in the trunk and I don't have a blow-down tube. The techs have never said anything about it at Bud Park.:dunno:
I don't unhook mine on the street. |

| well i figure if its on wide open throttle and u have a remote bottle opener your all good...i thought it was against the law if the vavle is open i mean u get pulled over your bottle is open your toast for stunting im pretty sure... |
