In light of the other thread, posting all the horrible jobs we've had, let's start another thread about good jobs you had/have. Specifically stuff your average high school student can do. That way, those of us who need some cash (for our cars obviously) can get an idea of decent places to work.
I'd start it off but I haven't really had any great jobs. I worked at Sobey's for a bit, which wasn't too bad except my supervisor was a bitch and the owner was a cocksucker.

i had a pretty good job working for 4 months on contract at the U of A. was a research assistant for the Imanishi Kinji archive. Tons of photoshop work, and directory & file managment via the OS X terminal using perl scripts and bash shell commands (thankfully i had a dual G4 w/ 20" cinema display).
I learnt alot of neat *nix tricks, got to work on my OS of choice, and made pretty good salary. Only trouble was getting there on time & finding parking. |

| Im the tech at Sport Mart, so i do everything for skis/boards, sharpen skates and stuff. Then when the faggot ass jocks come in i can fuck up there skates :p but its an alright job, i do half the work as everyone and get paid an extra $1.50 an hour. Plus i can work on my own board and friends boards whenever. |

| I work at a restauraunt in Devon doing delivery and washing dishes. Bad part is I don't really like washing dishes. Good part is I have brought home up to $40 tips in a 3 hour shift (If I calculate this in my wage I make close to $20.00/hr) and I enjoy doing deliveries as I can listen to music in my car... It depends on the night whether there are a lot of deliveries or it is busy at the restauraunt... |

I'm, still in high school (gr.11) and I'm working at Star Produce. I only work on Sundays..and it is perfect...I make $10.50/hour to sort tomatoes and other types of fruits. I make anywhere from $80-100 per Sunday. And over summer I'm working full time there..but it is only $7.00 an hour...

Best job I've had was working for Nestle Canada making ice cream for the summer ...
easiest job ever and the pay was decent for being a student at that time..
part of the job was to take and eat different icecream off the assembly line as it was intended for quality assurance purposes..
You had your range of Mr.Big Bars, Fudgecicles,Revello's,popsicles, and all that ice cream in those pails you would find at Baskin Robins...I remember all the hot chicks who worked there at the beginning of the summer we're all fat at the end of the season.. :p
Good thing I had high metabolism.. |

see you dont know how future shop works. for one there are sales people, and product experts. sale people are wokring hourly, not commision. and product expercts are on commision. they do the same job. but the thing about a product experct is they usually sell larger, more expencive items, as to a sales person selling alot of smaller items. they do the same job, so i dont really see my self as "WORSE" and "the backbone that SUPPORTS the bane of society".

i admit, i seem to be very uneducated in the ways of future shop, it would seem the only people i've met there are in fact the commission product experts you mentioned, though i use the term loosely :P
Regardless, i'm just 'razzn', as it were. |

My second job is probably the best.
I do 5-15 minutes of actual work in a 6 hour shift, and the rest of the time I am encouraged by the bosses to make use of the 42" Plasma with DVDs :)
All this, for $20/hour. |

| My best job is the one I have right now. Working at Partsource. The money might not be the best but you don't have to work. All i work is nights and weekends so its usually not very busy and all i do is look at stuff for my car. I can't forget the good deals i can get too. |
