Pics of American soldiers - Click HERE for Original Thread

REFLUX
Though I'm not a supporter of the USAs international agenda, these pictures are heart warming & show a side of the military that it has been losing since war has been around....humanity.

The first photo.... someone petting a kitten with a loaded assault rifle in their hand. Heart warming?

Second pic is broken

Third photo... a bunch of Americans praying that they wont die when they are illegally occupying a country. Praying their weapons will keep them safe from insurgents. Heart warming?

Fourth photo... a married man kissing an envelope to his wife back home. If he dies at least his wife will have get something to remember him. The civilians he kills after he sends the letter probably wont have that luxury.

Fifth photo.. an American soldier interacts with one of the civilians he didnt kill. How would the scene have been different if there wasnt an Associated Press photographer right there?

Last photo... a soldier tends to a child who has been wounded. He probably is wondering how the kid is going to survive since they just killed her parents. Not so heart warming either.

Being Ex-Army.... don't shit on the little guy, most of the soldiers are just doing what they're ordered to. not like they can say no, well to an extent, but not really.

If you wanna shit on anybody shit on the brass makin them go over there.

because you have no clue what your talking about.

Two sides to a story. Not everyone thinks like Bush. Don't blame the soldier's for someone elses crimes.

DeathBy240
My posts were pretty negative towards the soldiers, and I know that. I know they aren't to blame for the war, they are just pawns in something larger. But you are right, compared to someone how was in Afghanistan with the army, I probably have no concept of whats going on over there.

SilverNeonRacer
I never said I was over there, I got a medical discharge back in 98. But I know how the army works, well the Canadian one anyhow.
