| I recently got a ticket for having "Illegal" LED Blue washer jets. I got a $57 Ticket for them. "Unauthorized lamps" is what they charged me with. Is this right or do they just have nothing to do? |

I believe you aren't allowed to have any blue/red lights on your car because they are reserved for police and other emergancy vehicles.
So no, the ticket is real ad there is a valid reason behind it. |

Perfectly valid ticketable offense.
I forget if its the DOT or NHTSA (or both) but there is a very valid reasoning why only certain colors for lights are allowed on the front and rear of your vehicle. |

| Your lucky you got ticketed the actual proper fine, normally they try to hand out $100+ stunting tickets for them. |

| I ran the White LEd ones.. but I never hooked up the wires cause well in my ricer days i ran blue ones and a bodyshop messed them up so they paid for me to get new ones, i got white, never got around to attaching the wires. looked much better than the stocks though. |
