REDX2NV
oh BTW it had spoiler but i got pissed off and ripped it off!

schlong8
Holy crap! What the hell happened? A fire obviously, but how?

heh, and the e-brake appears to be in the locked position. Didn't want it rolling away from u huh? heh

REDX2NV
You know what, i really dont know what happened and will never really find out. All i know that is i was driving home one night and it kinda had a smell burning smell, never thought anything of it cuz i was tired at had to get up at 7:00 for work..Flames firs shot out the engine bay and the rest was history, keep in mind this happened in 7 minutes!

Also forgot to mention i had 40 cds, dragon sunglasses and my hoody in there which i couldnt claim, just to piss me off some more.

Any guesses anyone? It was a 1 lady owner car with all records and all warranty work, it also had about 80 000 miles. The car was also a us spec car if that makes any difference..

RDS Celica
wow whoever took those pictures sure did an awesome job!! :D haha. Now I just need to rip the video of your car on fire and the fire department tearing off your hood. B)

Xx D-MAN xX
So much for parting out any parts :tear:

If this incident happened in august, why would you have the nokian winter tires on the car during that time period??????

Nightstalker
You can still seel the rear mud flaps and bumper cover.. likely all the stuff inside there.. You know those little fire extingushers (wow I can't spell).. ya its a good idea to carry one in your car.. even if its un moded... you never know when you will run into something like that.. on your car or someone elses.. I have one in my trunk

Nightstalker
the rear rims, trunk lid, and rear suspension and brake components still look ok to me.. you should be able to get 500+ for all the stuff. Go to honda.. a new perlude bumper cover is like 300+ likely.. sell it for a 100 inthe bargin finder..

REDX2NV
whats is left, factory intake, rear bumper cover, i tailight, 1 wheel and tire, 1 gound control coilover and eibach spring, jack set, a crankshaft, 10 lugs, kakimto muffler, rear brake, trunk lid are alright. i'll let the insurance company take evrything away, i'll bet they are already tring to sue me for fraud for this bs i bet soo ill not fuk with aything to do with this car..

Pro Drag
To go up in flames that fast, I would suspect a fuel leak.

Pro Drag
By the way, is that Daytona in the picture a turbo?

uncle ben
WOW! now i'll know what junkyards of the future will look like :D Hope the insurance company gives you mad cash. :)

wong
Hoyl shit - will Zaino fix that?

REDX2NV

Dealing with insurance must be tough. Especially when stuff like this happens...and because it's a prelude; Goodluck getting market value!

(BTW- I've got a 2000 prelude forsale hehe. Email me at: silverscale@hotmail.com if you're interested.)

toda
did you bring your car to phat performance? probably they #$@* up your car too. you should go back there and kick is ass your just bomb the place down. He does do shitty job. sorry about your ride man so next time don't bring it to phat or you'll blow another car.

REDX2NV
holy a blast from the past, thanks for bringing the thread back up... :o

Anyways for a update, i am getting full payment for my car(minus the piping for the exhaust, so knockoff $150). So on monday i am picking up my $23501.00 cheque and buying my new car, i thought this day would never come.

Toda, i never had any of my work done at PHAT, i only bought my muffler there. I do all the work by myself(minus welding on the muffler, thats beyond me B) )

dogstar
glad to hear theyre paying out, happy days for you, just hope your insurance isnt going to have a coronary :fingersx:

REDX2NV
