So today, I'm standing there filling up my car with gas when my car alarm starts to chirp. At first I thought that I had hit a button on the remote until i realised my keys were inside the car. Not a big problem, until my alarm decides to arm itself and lock the doors. So I'm standing there cursing at my car when it chirps again and disarms. Anybody know whats going on? Is my car haunted?

I'm no expert on alarms but it could be that the battery in the remote could be dying, or depending on your alarm it could be set to auto which will act funny. the best thing is to take it into anyplace that installs alarms and they will check it(usually for free)

Thats what I thought it could be. My battery is at 2/3 though and its not on auto. Funny thing that I just recognized is that it was on passive mode, but it still chirped everytime. So I turned the passive off and we'll see what happens. Oh, and its booked to go in on monday, I just thought if anyone else knew it could make things easier.
