great turn out, lots of people, and some entertaining trivia for Sema stuff. But the only thing that was dumb was the fact that "VON'S" had like 2 people serving all 35 of us. But it was all good anyways.

my prime rib was the worst i've had in a long time. i asked for medium rare... came out OBVIOUSLY medium done
and 15% gratuity for only 2 servers... and the only thing they did was take order, and bring order!
but it was quite enjoyable... lots of nice people and great to meet you all. |

All in all, it was a good night. The service was a little week and the food wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was still enjoyable. It was just nice to get together socially to meet all the people on this board and put faces to the names.
All the free swag was a nice touch and the gift I received was sweet. Mercedez Benz C-Klasse Sport coupe die cast model. I hope who ever got the lottery tickets actually won something.
Cudos goes out to all the people invovled getting the event organized and to Mark for bringing all the goodies from SEMA. I'll be looking forward to the next v8less event. |

[SIZE=14] NOTE to Markis: DO NOT promise the f**#king servers an automatic 15% tip![/SIZE=14] They barely deserved a 1.5% tip due to the crappy service. Promising an automatic tip probably made it worse. Andy had to get our water... and $2.25 for a pop with no refills? I'm not going back there again! |

I agree those severs took an hour and a half before are table, the first to order, even got our food service was :thumbsdown: but it was organized pretty good and I had a blast, especially when mark was asking the questions for those posters :bigthumbup: :D :P |

They tried, they failed, but hey, that's ok, we'll never go back right?, RIGHT?...
Very interesting meeting some of the people and yeah, I had to comment on a few things <cough><cough>SOFTCOREPORNPOSTERS<cough><cough><ahem>, but it was alot of fun.
This just goes to show you, you can have the best planning (thank you Scintillator) and have an event marred by one little thing... |

I was the one who bought the mercedes Car, and I won 7 bucks on some lotto tickets and got 10 bucks worth of Timmies Certificates, that was awesome! WOOHOO! |
