Alrighty boys, do we have enough interest to enter this show as a club? I'm down, and I know Dax is. I think we could use a Bike or a Skyline in there too :D There is probably a car show or two before this one too.

Anyone? we can enter as a club with a minimum of five entires (bikes or cars), and it's $30 per entry, otherwise to enter individually it's $50/per person. The date is approaching soon so if anyone is interested or knows someone who may be interested in showing with instinct let Dax or I know so we can get on this shit.

| Well if you do have it done you should defeintly enter it up, sounds like you are going to have a pimp bike, nitrous on bikes is intense, prepare for a wheelie when you hit that button! |

Working on finishing the sub box (like 12 more layers to go, so may have to use kevlar or carbon fiber instead cause I can use less layers then...), and various other little things on the car, gotta spray the sub box and dash on Wed. Also working on the Team Instinct show card (placard) holders, here's a crappy drawing I did of them (my drawing skills are kinda weak lol). The metal rod is actually 1/2" copper pipe, I may edge ligh the plexiglass sheet holder, we'll see if time permits. And the base will hopefully be an oval I just haven't found anything to make a decent concrete oval form out of yet...

Dax we are going to be up fucking late on Thursday night I can see it now!! I heard the judging is kinda questionable at VUB in the past but I'm really not worried, sure a trophy would be cool but I'm out there just to have fun first and foremost and get the Instinct name out there.
What about for a display man? Any ideas yet?? |

alright, everything should work out alright...however, i am unsure of when i will be coming into calgary, i talked to cubed today and he said that he is sending me rotors and pads etc in the mail tomorrow...which means i will get em thurs or fri........
shitty that we never got this worked out sooner but thats how the dice rolls....oh well, i will try to get there sometime thursday still so we can work on our shit. i do not have that much left other than engine detailing/show props
as for a design, i made one at work, but are we printing these out on paper? i think so right? so what color do you want the background? white? i originally designed a plexi sign with decals on it, and the background was to be black, with blue, silver, and white writing........i think i might still do this for this show if i have time, but i am running out of decals, i am completely out of silver almost so i might be diced. only time will tell. however, i can submit you the design, and fonts i plan on using, and let me know what you think of them...i will talk to you on wednesday on MSN and we can get everything worked out. |

then the next show is in edmonton on july 9th! a few of us are gonna head down for that, i will be entering that as well, maybe if shannon enters you could roll with him, if not you could always come with me if you wanted |

| Yeah we'll see I'm going to Veags tommorow and won't be back until the 24th, however I mostly just have to get the box done (more snading and then I can spray it), and get a few other little things done so there is a chance, albeit a slight one. I'll prolly roll up there regardless though to check the show. Fauth - let's phone Steve when we're up there - 3 words: baby oil, waterslides!! |

yeah boyz, that sounds awsome man, ill have to check my work schedule and if i have it off, ill definitly roll with you guys up there. and im not 100% sure but i think forbes mentioned to me that he might be coming to calgary around that time, but ill check with him later on that one, just keep me updated on the show and times when we would go and come back, but it sounds good fo sho. shan man, im liking those 3 words a lot.
also man, i was thinking about making a new box for my subs, ill have to show you the design later sometime, but i need your expertise on what wood is the best to by for building one. so when your back from losing all your money hollar at me and let me know man.
Dax-fill me in on all the info about the show, but ill probably roll with you for sure man. |
