Hey guys, hopefully someone on here can help me and my buddy out with this question.
On the '89-90 silvia's rear suspension, did the factory design the control arms to be adjustable?
My buddy has a major camber problem and we aren't sure if he needs to buy some adjustable units, or if we can adjust what it came with stock.
Thanks for any help |

| No, the stock suspension is not adjustable. You need to buy new control arms or raise the car. It's either lowered too much, or something isn't right. |

Yes the rear suspension is adjustable via the eccentris bolts on the upper arm (Goes around the rear strut) and the rear arm (It skinny and located behind the strut and lower control arm. However if it is lowed too much the bolts will not have enough adjustment to get it back to stock specs, so you can buy some of these Rear camber correction bushings (http://www.pdm-racing.com/products/suspension.html) they are for lowered vehicles and may allow for enough adjustment to get it back to stock specs.
Or you could get the adjustable arm that SRBURG13 was takin about. |

hey, that's great. thanks.
any idea how many degrees it is adjustable? we are planning on raising the car up a little soon and I am not sure how off it is right now, but if it's adjustable up to 2degrees then we should be laughing! |
