| Yesterday i am driving along in my talon (just bought it not even a week ago, totally stock) and a guy and his girlfriend pull up to me in a yellow sunfire with street force stickers all over it and the most ugly 3 ft spoiler i have ever seen and they point at my car and start laughing???? then they roll down there window and the guy says "why dont you get a real car?"!!!!!!!!!!! what exactly is different between a "street force" sunfire and a normal one besides the ugly wing and stickers??? |

| Streetforce is basically an aftermarket bodykit company that GM uses to do up a bunch of the cars on the lots (the hood on my Z24 is from them) They have nothing to do with performance though. Some people are just idiots. I hope that wasn't someone from our local J-body club. I really hate people that act that way towards any type of vehicle, well, except maybe Lada's. :P |

My personal opinion is that all sunfires are "CHICK" cars.. sorry to any guy on here that drives one.. it just seems that 90%+ of the sunfire drivers are female. There used to be a handful of 2nd or 3rd gen CRX's (don't know which) with a stylized sticker of a big number "2" overtop of the word "Tone" and would have horribly matched colors like scratched up black and the lower rocker panels would be mustard yellow.
Stuff like that...
I believe there are still two in existance... |

| I know i would have beat him cuz my ex has a new "street force" sunfire (her parents payed about $9000 too much for a ram air hood and the street force logo on the seats and some ugly rims) and i beat her in my old prelude but the point is my car was totally stock and it was shitty out and unless he was more stupid then i thought he should have know i would have kicked his ass bone stock but he had to brag infront of his girl (who by the way looked ugly as hell and had a grill on her like she was knawing on barbed wire) |

There's lots of stupid rich kids out here in st albert who's parents bought them the power rangers car :) They think they're so cool cause of that stupid spoiler and a few decals and sometimes a noisy but crappy muffler... My brothers friend has an 02 Cavalier and wants to race me for $50.00. I just keep telling him he should go get a bigger spoiler and he might have a chance, his reply is "are you to affraid to race me..." I just tell them it's not worth my time to destroy them with virtually no effort.
What else do I need to say to prove that the spoiler doesn't make the car go faster, I have a 300zx turbo which would murder him... They just don't understand that those cars aren't built for racing from the factory :D

Hey, I have intake, header, hi-flow cat, and cat back exhaust too! :D I'm not particularily quick right now, but after the supercharger goes on this weekend I should be pretty decent. ;)
I still hate anyone that talks like their car can beat anything and everything. Even if the car is extremely fast, I think it is still always best to be modest. Someone is always going to be faster.
Have you ran your car at the track before redbaron? |

Opps, sorry if I can off as being "the god of racing" I know I'm not, and I know most of the guys on this board would make great contenders if not be able to beat my bench racing ass. I've never run a car out at the track, my Rx7 last year wasn't in racing condition, they wouldn't let it on the track cause it had an oil leak. I just got my Z at the beginning of the month, so I haven't raced her yet either.
I've been trying to dig up as much info as I can so that I can race this next season and quit being a bench racer. I've seen my Z being raced out at the track, the prev owner did a couple of passes last year. It ran a 14.3 (13.3?? can't rember) at 97mph with him driving. I'm hoping that I can at least pull his best time from last year and keep it constant. I personally think that's pretty decent for a car that only has a bov, and a boost controller, it's not even intercooled.... |

NP. Still I consider myself a bench racer, aside a few short street drags with a friend of mine (doesnt' really count, I know). I can't wait to run her myself at the track and see what I can do... I'll tell y'all now that it'll be a pussy launch as I don't want to burn out my clutch. :) Here's to good times but slow times :)
Don't worry, I don't hate J-body drivers, I've seen alot of you guys around, I've seen you're car downtown on a friday and it's cool. We at least know what we can do and who we shouldn't waste our time with, that's the point i was trying to make. You know if that Z was the one you raced at SCCC, then maybe I'll be the one racing you at this years event :) Does that piss everyone else off too, I assume it does by reading some of your comments on this guy and his sunfire. People that think they're the best at the sport and maybe dont' even drive a fast car, that's pathetic. I'll at least admit that I can take people, but that I can be taken myself...I would race a guy in a chevette if they wanted to go, as long as they didn't think they were the best and no one else could take em. |

| Down at my school (NAIT) there is a 2 tone (black/yellow) crx. Owned by an asian named tony. I thought he did that to the car himself unitl I found this thread. It's kind of a relief it came that way and wasn't custom. |
