Actually you'd be interested to know that most buses are supercharged. That's where the configuration of 6/71 etc came from. It signifies a supercharger able to power a diesel engine with 71 cubic inch per each of 6 cylinders. 8/71 = 8 cylinders each of 71 cid etc. Superchargers were put on industrial engines long before race cars adopted them.

Just a little bit of useless info.

Jimbo -_-

There is nothing wrong with nitrous, other than being illegal on the street. Some people still have the perception that it is dangerous or voodoo, but there is nothing dangerous about a properly installed and maintained system. That is if you don't get anxious and up the shot and blow your motor. That looks cool

GirlRacer P1
Thank you PearlyWhiteTSI. The nitrous is not used on the street, and is properly maintained.

albertarc: I have heard that before. You need some sort of forced induction if you are that heavy of a vehicle, and having a large load of people every day.

Genki
well like i said before...

even if u run nitrous.. your car should still be one of hte 3 listed..

Are you certain that they are using Detroit engines?

on an off note I think I still have a 6-71 blower somewhere in the warehouse. :P
