V8less will be setting up the perimeter show portion of the Mod’ed SCC Section at the Edmonton Motor Show. This show runs on Feb 27 for 4 days.
The EMDA show last year drew 65,000 people. This is by far the largest car show in Edmonton, and is an excellent opportunity to promote the Import Scene.
V8less will be placing 30 cars into the show (two rows of 15 cars). There will be vendor booths, a small stage, a charity golf putt, and a Beer Garden in the center of the display area.
All cars will be behind tape barriers and there will be a minimum of 2 security guards 24 hours a day including roll in, but you will be putting your vehicle in at your own risk.
What it will cost you:
- UPDATE: COSTS HAVE BEEN WAIVED!!!!
- the use of your car for the duration of the show
- a mandatory V8less banner sticker to be put on your car windshield during the course of the event
What you will get:
- limited production V8less banner sticker
- a VIP pass for EMDA for the duration of the event
- exposure unlike anything else for your club or sponsors
- we may feature you in a V8less Calendar with the V8less Import Models
The fine print:
- registration begins on December 20th and ends February 15th
- all participants must sign a waiver
- all participants must leave a set of keys in a sealed envelope with security staff for emergencies

Registration is delayed due to some new info.
We will have the registration up on the 23rd.
Register early because we will be selecting a few of our early entrants to be spotlighted in the EMDA flyer that will be distributed to every household. |

Hmmm... My car will be both at World Of Wheels and EMDA. There's a week between each events. Should be enough to move the car between the two cities? I definitely hope so or I'll be in trouble :)

Through discussions with the generous Producer of EMDA,
Costs of the event will be covered by both V8less and EMDA. Therefore there is no charge to display your car whether you are sponsored or not.
We have approx. 20 cars registered and will accept 10 more.
All registered people will recevice confirmation emails soon. |
