hmm.. really depends, at work I usually listen to the bear, but when I'm driving around I switch between 91.7, 96X, k-rock and the bear, depending whats playing on which station.
I voted the bear, because thats what I listen to the most.. |

| The Bounce has started going downhill, and their morning show is terrible. 96X can have some decent music, I hate BJ and shannon in the morning though, I don't listen to that station because they still employ these two douche bags. I can't stand shitty old rock so 97 is out. The Paul Brown show is awesome, and the Bear has the best all around music. I like how they're all so opinionated too, makes the radio more interesting. :bthumbup: for the Bear. |

Out of all the choices, I voted The Bounce - lesser of the evils.
Before The Bounce, radio stations in this city sucked, but after The Bounce.....they still suck.

| The Bear for the most part. The bounce isn't bad but the only play 50 cent songs. Team 1260 is good and 630 late at night for coast to coast. |

Anyway, The Bear gets my vote. I can't stand 96X, and the Bounce is even worse. There are only so many times I can listen to 50 cent write the same damn song over and over. 'Switch out the background singers. No one will notice it's the same song.' 96X is an exercise in repetativeness. That said, 1/3 of the Bear is pre 90's rock, and far too much 80's. So I'm usually switching between that and a CD. |

I was listening to the radio today because I was bored. It was a commercial on the bear so I switched to 91.7, which was playing some dumbass rap song by Will Smith. So I switch to 96.3, and guess what, they are playing THE EXACT SAME GODDAMN SONG!
96.3+91.7= suckage! |

How did 97 K-Rock make it onto this poll without Joe FM (92.5) being on there?
The playlist on 92.5, while heavy on 80's, is still largely more relevant to our generation than K-Rock's (70's classic rock), don't you think? :dunno:
I personally can't stand listening to K-Rock very long as its rare I catch something I like. At least the Bear & JoeFM will play occasional glam-rock/heavy metal from from the 80's that I grew up with... and I'm one of the oldest here. Who here is even old enough to appreciate the 70's rock? |

Friday Nights at the Standard hosted by 91.7 the bounce, DJ Kwak and Harman B mix for them... and from my experience with their tunes i dont find them to be donkey balls......they are actually good

102.9 seems to be getting quite repetitive lately. but i like that they play songs that ive never heard before like b-sides and stuff. i really wish they woud avoid repeating, though. i really really miss that low power 107.9 guy. that was some home amateur transmitter kit for the recently degegulated low power fm stereo class. he was playing #VV vynyl Vortex off the internet most of the time.
The bear is my other staple unless they play that damn new audioslave track, then i switch to 88.5 or the bounce. |

im likeing 102.9 right now, and i havnt said that about a radio station in like 5 years
haha i was listening to it a few days ago and played 7 nirvana songs in a row, then the announcer thing came on and was all "102.9 Sonic, we play the most nirvana", then they played 2 more, i thought it was prety funny |

I listen to the bounce usually if I don't have a cd in. However The bounce and 96x play way to much of the same music. And it's like if 1 station isn't playing Eminem or 50Cent then the other is. It's stupid. Why do we need 2 stations exactly the same? As for the Standard music I don't mind it but it seems like they recorded one cd and then they play that all the time there and then the DJ is just there for looks. As for the morning show BJ and Shannon is just annoying. All they talk about is reality tv. I don't watch tv and if I wanted to I would watch it and not need it recapped all morning long. The bounce was good when it first started out. But it's gone way down hill now.

| yeah so I've become really sick of every other station, and all the cd's I'd burnt, so today I listened to 102.9 all day at work, and I was surprised, its actually really good, didn't hear a single commercial, not a lot of talking just a lot of music, and a good variety too, not just rotating the same crap every couple hours. :bthumbup: |
