Ask Blaine at ProDrag in the market forum's

He seems very knowledgable, and owns one himself.

AWD or FWD?

T28 (for easy bolt up)

That stock T25 hairdryer is just brutal. Plus you'll have to do all the pre-mods (1G BOV, upper ic pipe, free mods etc)

Check DSMtuners forums they have tons of good tips/ideas/mods for your 2G.

(But seriously that T25 sucks)

Smoke them on the track, not on the street.

Good luck with your upgrades!

Also, realize, you might get a few Mustang GT's after you spend a bunch of money (MIGHT).

But if they want to race you and they spend as much money as you (or even less) they will totally destroy you.

I spent big $$$ on my 2G Turbo Eclipse and it was still very very slow compared to a Mustang GT (with less money in mods).

Well then you must have spent money in all the wrong areas, the 4G63 responds very well to little mods.

^^ Agreed. With basic mods for a few grand you can hit Stage 1(275-300hp) and for anywhere between $5000-8000 you can hit Stage 2(350-400hp) and beyond.

You honestly think, dollar for dollar, that you can beat a LT1 Camaro (Let alone a LS1)???? Haha, that's priceless.

An LS1 DYNO's at 300+HP typically. Imagine what just $2000-$3000 in mods does to it?

Let's keep this from becoming a 4G63 vs LT/LS1 thread.
Stay on topic please.

You can follow this guide roughly if you want to do things right. --> http://www.dsmtuners.com/tuning-guide/2gturbo/

As I mentioned in my PM to the thread starter. I have a little experiment I am going to try.
Bone stock 1G DSM.
$1500 retail in performance parts.
110 MPH or more in the 1/4 mile.

You do the math.

A stock AWD DSM with a DRIVER behind the wheel should not have any trouble punishing a Mustang GT.

BTW, in a $$$ for $$$ battle horsepower, Cubic Inches generally dominates.
