Hello, I was just wondering if anyone could tell me where to get a header for my 86? Ijust bought it and am kinda new to the 7 world. Also does anybody know if the headlight switches are a comon problem on the early gen 2's. I did try a search on these opics but found nothing. Sorry for the newbie qustions, i'l keep them to a min. Thanks in advance later. :
(edit)sorry i was under the impression that this was an rx7 site and assumed that the 86 and gen 2 gave it away. It's an 86 na rx7. sorry again.

Hi, welcome to the boards.... I have a first gen 7. There is a Mazda section on V8less... but you're best bet is to try and search on www.rx7club.com it's a website that serves for all generations of 7's and has a lot of info on them.
Goodluck. |

| talk to carl from JB's Powercenter in Mayfield. hes really good with rx7's. His buddy makes custom headers for the 7 and he said he could get them for like $250 i think. I wam gonna get one in the next few months probably! |

| You can ask Conroy about custom headers for RX-7s, he makes them himself. He's one of the organizers of the RX-7 club and you can meet him at the monthly meetings. If you have a little extra cash to spend I would go with an authentic racing beat header and full exhaust system(www.racingbeat.com) Won't sound so loud and raspy as most rotory engines tend to do with other modified exhaust systems. |
