went there with my brother to check out a V70R
my bro had his eye on one of these for a while now.
saw one outside, checked it out and went inside to find a salesman, one comes out and greets us, started chatting and stuff, he looks at both of us, ( wearing comfortable clothes, jeans and runners and track suit ), guess he doesnt take us seriously, first he asked my brother what he drives, (05' MDX ), then asks what he owes on it and stuff like that, guess he's just trying to figure out if we can afford it or not, and i know its not a problem money wise.
so we ask him if we can take it for a test drive, he goes back into his office, we assume to get keys, but instead he sits down, so my brother asks him again to go for a test drive, and he gives us a bullshit line, " we dont want to put any kilometers on the car if your not serious".
so i give him a " fuck you " under my breath and walk out.
got the number for Michael Atkin ( owner ), wouldnt return our calls or e-mails.
This just shows how the owner preaches to his saleman.
or maybe this is gods way of telling my brother not to buy a volvo?

anglo is shit. we went there to test drive a 04' XC90 T6 AWD, and did the run around, sales man was a dick. said thank you, phoned richmond volvo dealer, bought the car in B.C, and drove it back ;)
you should see there faces when we bring it in for service :lol:
usually we go to sandy lane on argyll though, volvo specialists. just the odd time to dealer for a laugh. |

Me and my girlfriend went to look at a base S40 as a nicer alternative to a Mazda3. We were there for 45 minutes and no one even said hi. When we tried to ask some questions about the car the salesguy we asked blew us off and walked away.
As I walked out I went by him and said really loudly, "What a fucking prick that guy was." He didn't even blink.
I'll be going to Calgary if I ever want a Volvo. |
