TopTech did some distributor work on my car. They f'ed up (I think they didn't replace the seal in there) and I had oil pouring out of my distributor. I brought it back and they were pretty good about it. I bought a new cap, but they fixed it all up properly and topped up my oil for no charge. I was a little peeved that they used Quaker State oil to top it up even though I always run Mobil1, also peeved that it even happened. I also noticed they use top quality parts. For example the ditributor rotor they put in was TEC (OEM).

Wilson's Autotech, Honda guru's, cheaper than the dealer, very honest staff

Thanx everybody for the input. I've yet to take my car anywhere yet. Almost forgot about Wilson's. Thx for the tip:)

I don't go anywhere else for rotuine maintenance, wilson's is excellent. They're all ex dealer mechanics.

When I used to have my Integra, I always took it to Robert Piper, a technican at West Side Acura (not sure if he still works there or not). He was very good.

do not trust southview acrua!!!!!!!!
i went in there for a simple oil change, then the service manager comes out and tells me i have to get my tranny flushed because the fluid was extremely dirty.
(i was stmped at the moment he told me because i just had that done about a month before)
so i tell him that i got it done, not too long ago.
and then he tells me that the didnt do a good job on it, and should bring it back to get it done again.
the funny thing is, i brought it to southview to have it changed.
so he checks the computer for the history of my service record and sure enough, i had the tranny flushed there 1 month before.
so he heads back to the shop, and comes back 5-10 minutes later and tells me that they just checked it again, and it wasnt that dirty after all.

so after this experience with southview, where the service manager tries to lie to me, to sell a service, i will not trust them anymore.

92exrcoupe: I am starting from a blank slate. Mental note: avoid southview acura. Thanks for the story.
