Who do you guys think has the nicest first gen in Edmonton?(pictures would be awesome)

Im just wonder what im up against with my car ;)

Well, I don't think mione is all raced up like yours, its a stock GSL-SE. It's original color (charcoal), repainted 4 years ago, appraised at 6700 a month ago. My question is who is doing your paint? Some goof dragged their car along the passenger door and it needs some repairs to get it back to its eye turning condition! Any leads on a good Mazda body man would be welcome.

I am going to goto baseline collision repair, I know its gonna cost a whole wack but I have heard good things about them. The cars actually booked in two weeks from now. I was estimated 2,300 for the rest of the body work and paint. I thought this was resonable, you have to remember you get what you pay for. Paint in my opinion is not an area to skimp out on.

Do you live in sherwood park? I may have seen you around. My car is super ugly right now, ive just had it out a few times to adjust the timing and stuff...

im out in the park a lot (live in Ottewell), mostly home depot and stuff...im the big guy with the little car. i had to put in a 13 inch wheel to let my knees not get jammed up when operating the clutch! baseline collision? i guess i can go and get a quote, i certainly dont want to skimp, but a guy i work with said about 500 bucks should do it, but matching the paint is the issue. i used dougs place too a few years ago on my nissan, but lots of overspray and stuff, not happy with it looking like a repaint afterward.
thanks for the tip, and the car goes under the cover until the winter leaves us again...stupid weather!

I think I have a pretty sweet first gen. It's pretty much an all original body and it's very clean.... not so stock for the driveline though, which is all new as of this year (it's a work in progress) but IMO, I love it.

I'm not sure who owns it but I was going to say the one that was on display at the EMDA auto show several years back when they had ~ 100 local classic/collector cars on display in the basement (ice rink) area. I remember seeing a pristine 1st gen RX-7 that really looked great, as well as an original Datsun 240Z (a Z Club member's car, but I can't remember who's), a black Countach, a Lotus Esprit Turbo, and numerous other really nice cars...

hands down its trevors car. i wont post his last name cause im not too sure how happy he would be about it. he has a 79 that he has owned from new. silver. still has the origional wheels with the tires. just over 100,000 kms. mint. aprasised at over 12k. this thing has to be seen to be truely aprieciated how nice one on these can be. this IS, the car inzane is talking about. no other car ive seen comes close.

I'm interested to know more about this one as well..... or is it an "urban legend" ????? Honestly, it had better be MINT or else it would have cost more to import it, hence why I didn't get one myself.
