Video Editing Programs?? - Click HERE for Original Thread

Hey people,
Does anyone have personal experience with some kind of program that can take sound videos from your video camera?

We have a Sony Video Camera, and it came with this program that can take video, and sound from the camera. BUT NOT AT THE SAME TIME!!! What's the deal with that?

I just figure there must be a program out there that can take the video images and sound at the same time.

Can anyone help me out? :crying:

hmm this may help.

even though u got 2 outputs.. audio and video.. u can combine them with adobe premiere software. Assuming no frame drops in the video the audio should be in perfect sync when they are combined and rendered.

Adobe premiere might be able to import it in as well but im not 100% sure.

Yep, get primier, thats what I use to edit together all my 3d computer rendered video. It should work great.. Another option is to go out and spend the money to get a video card that has video in. I have one.. I can capture video and sound right off any video camera.

Thanks for the info guys.
I'm going to try download that Adobe software and see what I can do with it.

ummm... my video camera uses a USB plug to connect to my computer, is this an okay way to connect it?

ya USB is pretty quick.. I have AV hook ups like the back of a VCR or tv.. its just a different setup.. my way is more pro.. but with the newer USB digital style cam corders I would see that USB is likely going to out preform my setup soon.. digital is always a better way to send data.. no degridation..
