looks interesting, but MMORPG's tend to lack something.

I wish I was the project manager for an MMORPG in design and production because I would be able to make a game that could sell and be fun for everyone.

I might check it out though...

Starwars galaxies sucked, Lineage sucked, Ultima online, everquest, world of warcraft, they just all seem to lack a solid story line, the whole having to do "quests" in order according to your level etc. is kinda gay.

A friend and I are slapping together a huge project plan for a large MMORPG that would destroy all these other ones. Now all we need is funding and some programmers...yarg.

Ill have to agree, they arnt a "long term game" .. they do lack a storey line, they are fun at the beginning though..

I have a feeling with a name like guild wars theres gonna be alot of PVP :D im stoked

PVP is where its at, computers just ruin it.

need to be able to fight for territories, and join factions etc

need a compeltely player controled universe, no computerized influence.

I played guildwars beta for a few days, it was alright but I am pretty sure you will be disapointed in the PVP aspect it wasn't that great in the beta.
you may want to check out L2extreme it is a free boosted exp lineage 2 server there is piles of PVP in it as well
