Who went.. Who's Going??
If you went.. and you liked it.. post what you liked..
If you haven't gone.. You prolly Shouldn't go.. because there is like no Imports there.. and half the imports look like they were rushed out onto the floor... I saw cars that the body kits didn't line up... Cars With no tail lights... Cars with garbage in the back seats.... Horrable...
and Not to bash E-Z Or anything.. But man.. Put some work into the cars... Maybe Take your time on them.. and Wipe them down after your 'work' Is done...
I wasn't Impressed..
Now... Domestic Muscle Cars On the Other hand...
I was Quite Impressed With those...(My dad's Into the 70' Musclue cars) and so.. I was checkin' them out and whatnot..
Lots of hard work put into those cars... And you can tell...
Because Everything Is hidden, and clean.. and shiney.
This Is MY opinion, Of Powerama... and If you have an Opinion about it... Give it a Post...

I just went today. The domestics were pretty good I must say, but the imports... Few of them were good, real eyecatchers. Others, Looked like they just slaped on some parts and hoped they stayed there. There wasnt much work done into some of the imports.
So I say Go if you like domestics. |

Well the widebody rsx and celica were very well done. Turbo lancer from southside mitsu was also pretty cool. Basically it was a great show as long as you stayed away from e-z's side of the hall. I mean tailights missing, horrifically spray painted engine parts, cracked paint on the rx8, mis aligned body kits ect.
The rsx from certified with the two w7 was too cool.
But I mean e-z's stuff I didn't really have anything against, its the more show part of our hobby I guess. BUT this one guy from E-Z kept trying to be all sneaky while I was looking at the cars and turning on the smoke machines with his foot, spraying fake smoke in my face. I'm a little pissed about that, I mean don't try and hide your crappy body work with smoke machines.......
Go take a look the domestics were really cool. The other imports were clean and really well done. Just stay away from E-Z's side of it. They were an embarrassement to us. |

The Desert Silver RSX from Calgary that was near EZ was mine. Was an alright show, though it seems whenever you mix an older crowd and imports you get alot of rude and insulting comments, regardless of the car. Had one guy, probably about 50 years old, walk up with his buddies and say, "I bet your favorite movie is Fast and the Furious eh?", then they all walked away laughing.
That said there were alot of people young and old who were interested in the cars and were quite nice to talk to. Not sure if the guy with the Certified Radio RSX is on here but that is one sexy audio setup
Oh, and congrats to Eriq (red prelude) for winning his category. |
