anyone know why the following equation gives me "#VALUE!"?

=SUM((H34:I34)*M3)

stuff
Try This

=SUM(H34:I34)*M3

Mustard
do either of the cels your adding contain characters?

ie.

if you have 130 km in cel A1 and 4 h in cel B1
and you put in C1
=A1/B1
you would not get 32.5 km/h
you would get #value, cause it doesn't like "km" or "H"

make sure you format the cels to contain numbers only.
