I run a MSI Geforce FX 5600 ultra VIVO, it's a lil burry, as in you can't read text very well, but for watching movies and video's it good. The prtob is the dot pitch on most tvs are really big, like the dot pitch on a standard crt monitor is .26mm where as on a tv, closer to .9-1.2mm.

Unless you run a plasma/LCD or projector TV it will be blurry even with a $400+ card.

My card I got on special for $169 or so from Tucson.

id stay away from nvidia when it comes to tv in and out, ati or matrox hold the title for the best tv out quality on a consumer vid card, but this is very dependant on your tv like the above post said, if u wana save a bit look for a tv card, like the tv wonder from ati its about 100 bucks and has tv in and out aswell as a tv tuner, if u wana upgrade your vid card go with the ati 9800 pro if u can find one or the 9600 or 9000 vivo, from my exp ati has the best quality in tv out using s video or composite
