Hey guys,

Just wanted to say thanks to the organizers of the autocross today - too bad the turnout wasn't great, but that just meant more tire shredding fun for the rest of us. :D

Anyway, the photographer that attended the autox said he couldn't post on 780 Tuners for some reason, so is a link to some of the pics he took:

Just to let you guys know....... they said many pre registered ( 25+ ) ......... and it costs $$$ to rent the base........ and even though the weather sucked..... best to support your group and show up....... to save them from loosing $$$ on the rental.

Not trying to start any flames.... just letting you know the RX7 guys have costs to cover.......

I'd pitch an extra $20!.. It was a great event for those who came out..

I know the conditions were borderline in the morning.. The conditions on the sidestreets fooled me into bringing my civic with winter tires.. I was up at the base at 06:50 when I determined that things were dry in the open areas. So drove all the way back to millwoods to get the prelude.

Thanks again to the RX7 club, the volunteers and the volunteers who where recruited on the spot to do timing and track setup :)

Maybe the RX7 club should look into use Karelo for their events at least that way there is a financial committment on the part of registrants.

Most people, myself included dont give as much consideration to not showing up for an event when theres nothing to lose by not going.

If you are able to divulge the info what is the break even cost of an event, not including volunteer time of course.
