Hello All,

Out first event of the season was a success!!! (Almost)

The weather helped, as later in the morning the sun was shining and the pavement was bare and dry, despite a chilly start and frosted pavement during our track setup.

Talking about the track, this was the first time I setup a track without "professional help" and I think the result was pretty good. Thanks to Bryan for the mock-up track layout and Nick for the help with the cones.

What went wrong? Apparently, people forgot to show up!
 We had a total of 9 drivers yesterday, and just two of them were from the Club. What happened???

The good side was, some people got up to 24 runs!!! Sometimes the start box was empty... people were sick of driving, some more than others (like me)

In the end, we had time to setup a reverse course and squeeze a couple more laps.

Anyway, here are the times. Enjoy.

yeah, that was a great time, bit of a poor turnout but for anybody who was autocrossing for the first time, like myself, it turned out to be a good thing since we got an incredible amount of runs. it was a hell of a lot of fun.. definitely looking forward to doing this more often. now I just need some sway bars so I don't roll so badly  http://www.lourensansregret.com/pho...es/IMG_2732.htm
big thanks to everybody involved in putting on the event

Hey Dennis,

It was A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!! I really regret not installing it ages ago!!!

Changed completelly the way the car reacts and got rid of pretty much all understeer. I can rotate the car at will on sharp corners and the tire wear is even now, not just on the shoulder!!! I don't think I will need more camber for now... ;)

You missed a lot of seat time...

See you next Sunday!
