This game is freakin awesome, GT4 is now #2.
I love the possiblity of engine swaps, I've always wondered what a CRX feels like with an H22 swap...now I know, well..not really but it's still pertty neat.
Anyone got this yet?? |

ya this is a GT killer for sure, amazing game, I love the handling so realistic...
Just did an engine swap for my CRX, turbo charged H22a, even with only a stage 2 turbo it has insance power, I go full throttle maybe 15% of the race, the thing's a little rocket.... |

this game is awesome i love it, real world bodykits from jun, top secret, re anemiya, saleen, the list goes on.
i just swapped a 3 rotor into my rx-7..... don't do it u cant control this thing.
hey does anyone have any good setups for drift or grip?
also some tips on paint customization would be nice. |

| I started my career on Saturday. I've got a CRX with all weight reduction and an H22A. It's at about 294hp and 250ish torque. This thing hauls ass. Only weighs 1867lbs. |

right now I'm on level 21, started last sunday, frakin game is addicting. I just won B class with the skyline, took me forever to find a car that could beat that damn Stealth R/T while staying in the B division.
workin on winning A-class now, probably just upgrade the skyline to take A as well, such a good all around car.
btw, if anyone's interested there's a small cheat to make money for free, it doesn't level up your game or unlock anything, so it's not too bad, just lets you have a big wad so you can experiment without worrying about going broke. |

No. I want to do little things and just keep moving it up in class right now. It's in the A class for now and can hold its own, but I may have to try a different car soon. |

It takes about 80g's to do but then you can make a couple million in about 5 minutes.
Buy a VW GLX,
Goto engine upgrades and buy every single engine upgrade EXCEPT the engine swap.
Make sure to buy all levels of every upgrade, not just the Stage 3's.
Then goto the engine swap, and buy the bigger engine. It's $2500. Then equip your original engine and sell the bigger one, it sells for $45,000. Then you can buy it again for $2500, equip original, and sell again for $45,000 over and over.
It's a bug where even though the engine upgrades are supposed to dissapear when swapping engine, the game still sells the engine as if it was fully upgraded.
Just remember this won't advance your game, it's just to give you more play money. |

I started playing on friday have not gotten to far (lv 8) in cause with first couple cash i just bought my car and now i am upgrading it almost identical minus engine mods to my real life car i kinda like how they have proper manufactures for car parts like racing beat is mazda thing and same as corksport nice to see the realism with upgrages.
and i guess i will drive that rx7 till my real life car is done being put together. |

yeah, i actually bought this game (modded xbox, so i didn't HAVE to but..)
and i love it! i think i'm level 13 right now with the following cars:
650hp golf r32
550hp ae86 gt apex (can't keep it straight! :D)
750hp 240sx
450hp mugen s2000
650hp teg type R
the only thing i like better about GT4 is the selection of cars. other than that, this game kicks ass :) |

| i still havent even managed to make a 9 second car! also has anyone noticed some off the drag times are off? eg. an srt-4 should be able to do almost 14 flat, but on the game i can only get it to do around 14.5.. tried lots of different setups, with TCS, without, etc etc |

just made my first 9 second car... 9.416 to be exact
its a Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS, (the older flat-lights gen).. its acceleration is rated at 10.0
just buy the best engine for it, buy everything for it completely, set your camber to 0.1 degress on all wheels, set limited slips to 0% on front and back, tire pressure to 34 psi. |

Ive used all 3 of these to win the S class, Koenigsegg CC
Subaru STI C and Tommy Kaira R 34, all of them modded to the max of course for the S class. |

I'm at level 45 in this game. My favorite car is still the F355 challenge, even though its not even close to being as fast as some of my other cars. A highly recomended game.
xbox live is fun too. |

yeah there isnt any MS games on SONY's ps2. Microsoft loses money on the console and gets all its money back from games, same with sony... so microsoft wouldn't make games for sony to profit from.
