street/drag racing? :dunno:

On the way to the club last night me and a couple of the boys spotted an older Talon and a Teg racing from the south end of Henday to the lights while their buddy was videotaping on the side of the road with his Talon. (that was us in the KIA Sportage with the hazards on btw) :P

KIA?! hmm....

I think it's a little too cold for racing this time of year, too easy to crash, just lose control and not recover yourself...

This is what I'm saying.

stupid people do stupid things

dogstar
"street racing is illegal"

now that thats said, yes, its not very good conditions for goofing off on public roads.

too much sand and dirt, not to mention the frost thats coming out of the pavement, and moisture and all that great stuff.
and cold tires dont grip too good, as im sure most/all of you know.

Very true Doggie...

Need I mention the guy who wiped on the southside awhile back?...

REFLUX
or the guy who smashed into a brick wall in the west end jus a month ago!!

last night i saw a EG dx civic (white) racing a red FC down in my neighbourhood... they were running eachother for a couple blocks until they went aside to talk.. IMO... the roads were way too cold for decent traction

on the side note.. those cars were sloooowwwwww... so they weren't at speeds that would make traction a huge factor...

and tsk tsk... racing at THIS time of year in a RESIDENTIAL area... i was gonna bitch at em but i needed to go home and piss!!!

yeah its a lil cold and dangerous for racing, but yeah, i got a burnt out head light on the old civic the outher day, but the time i pulled the old bulb out, and replaced it with a new one, my hands were past the point of freezing, so i guess im sayin, its a lil cold to work on your car outside.

I just bought a 50,000 BTU construction heater so I could work on my car in the garage all winter long :D

Agreed. Tonight I pulled anything good out of the interior of my car... such as my seats, guages, and stereo.... it was sooooooo cold :)
