The other day I couldn't open my drivers side door. I had to jimmy it open, so that I could remove the inner door panel and have a look inside. Anyways its pretty much all incased so u can't really c any of the door lock components.
But theres this brass hook with a circular clasp in it that if u knock will allow the door to work perrfectly again... Until u lock the door and pull on the handle. So I can't put the panel back on because the chance of me accidently or some1 eles going by and pulling on my handel while the door is locked is great.(And I need to reset the "clasp", if this happens)
I looked at this for a great deal and have no idea whats going on even when i unscrewed everything possible and looked around.
I used blueshower to try and clean everything and then applyed WD-40 everywhere thinking that maby something is sticking or has dirt in it but that didn't work.
Anyone heard of this? Common problem? Know how to fix it? Please help!!!
