Cadillac Escalade Front End Conversion? - Click HERE for Original Thread

LudeDude19
anyone have any idea how much that would cost on a 97 chevy? when I sell my car i was thinking of doing that to the truck i'm buying...if its not too much haha..any idea who sells em in canada?!

SilverZ24
There is an orange Chev or GMC truck in Kelowna with the Escalade front end. Looked good, but unfortunately that is all the info I have. :dunno:

It's fairly expensive if you use the right parts, mainly GM only parts. There are kits out there but they will need to be fitted by someone who knows what they are doing...otherwise it will look like crap. Alas there are also a few shops I know of off hand that carry the conversion kits....however they are not GM O.E.M parts.

Kits are around 3-4k....that includes fenders, hood, grille, headlights, corner lights, bumper cover, bumper support brace, emblem, rad support etc..etc...

Is it worth it?

I don't really think so, you can do lots with a 94-98 gmc or chev clip to make it stand out and look classy as hell.

if your interested in getting it done, let me know. i have a friend that is all over that

Honestly, it'll cool and all, but why go to all that work to have someone look at it and laugh? Putting bodykits on are one thing, but you arent trying to be another make/model.

lowryder99
Well I don't know about someone laughing when they see a caddy clip on a 88-98, I mean it still looks really good...but in all honesty I just think it's a tad overdone (that's all you see if you go to the states to check out the sport truck scene)

But I mean really....if you are modding your vehicle to get other's approval and make sure no one laughs then you are doing it for all the wrong reasons...

bluerush
i prefer the denali conversion from 2000 model year i think. But that's just my opinion...

Exactly, It'll look good, and while a few will appreciate the work most others will make a joke out of it.

turbo_dave
if you think it looks good then do it...IIRC I saw something similar on trucks except they did it to a yukon. I would personally like it plus you don't see many here just make sure its the front end with the big cadillac symbol :)

The term lost its meaning a long time ago. It's like how stupid people always say "thats gay".

HeavyEarly87T
I saw them do that change on one of the Saturday Truck shows on speed channel.

It looked good when they had it done. Look it up on the speed channel site then see if it the same as FAMILY GUY sells.
