To our current members, future members and supporters:
A date has been set for the next Edmonton Prelude Club meet. It will be on Saturday January 18, 2003 at the Boston Pizza (Mayfield Common location) starting at 3:30pm.
I have reserved a table in the dinning room for approximately 15 people and the reservation is under "Darcy".
This meet is to discuss the following topics:
Club Operating Costs
Web Hosting - Services / Email Addresses / Web Page / Costs
Membership - Fee's / Cards / Privileges
Logo Design
Business Card Design & Printing
Membership Card Design & Printing
Logo Decals & Sticker Printing
Promotion / Advertisement
Affiliate Vendors - Current / Possible
Up Coming Events - Car Shows, v8less events, etc.....
Since this meet is to discuss club matters, perhaps we can arrange to do something fun afterwards. Any suggestions?

James, I've never been to BP's before so is there different dining areas to choose from?
I was going to call next week to see if we can reserve a table for about 15 people. I think some of the people from the v8less tobogan event will be showing up there afterwards.
Arne, I don't know how long we will be there for. Probably for a couple of hours. Why? |

Okay, I just got off the phone with the hostess at BP's and this is the deal.
We can't get the party room for the time we want since it's reserved at 4:00pm. So, we could either meet earlier say for a late lunch or keep our original plan and reserve a large table for our group either in the dinning room or lounge.
All I told her was that we are having a "meeting" and don't want to be rushed out the door!!!!!
The difference between the dinning room and the lounge is just as James explained. The lounge is smoking and loud, while the dinning room is non-smoking and quiter.
So, give me an idea of what we want. It doesn't matter to me what time we meet, or if we go with the dinning room or lounge. |

Okay, by the census it seems like 3:30pm is still a good time to start the meet. The only bad thing is we can't get the private room so looks like we will be situated in the dinning room instead.
If no one has anything else to add, I will call BP's today to make the reservation for atleast 15 people for January 18, 2003 @ 3:30pm. The reservation will be under Darcy. |
