| When I was looking around the forums I found there were a few people using the S-AFC II on the Precidia. Plus the page I linked gave you a wiring diagram? Did that not help? |

the link you gave me was for the 4cyl they have a wiring diagram from apexi because it is the same engine as the miata. As for hooking it up to a klze mx3 you can not. I spent the money on the experement and it was not succesful, even tryed to tune it on the dyno with no luck...oh well a little R&D for the mx-3 community , now only if they would send me a check for funding. And as for the unit it has bee sold.

Oh really, damn. Seems strange that it wouldn't work though. Weren't you still using the 4 cyclinder ECU as yours was a swap? I'll be honest I'm not familiar with MX3's, but the AFC should be universal even though Apex'i doesn't include it in their wiring diagram. Really your just tapping into the Air Flow signal and changing the voltage before it gets to it to ECU. I've heard that some ECU's won't accept the input, but I haven't seen one myself. I believe the shop you had do it said they hadn't done one before, could that have been a potential problem? I'm curious were you on the dyno with a wideband when you were testing it? |

| no I am running the 1.8l v6 ecu. The ecu wold not accept the onput and would change the signal to whatever it wanted. it was leaning out till 4500 rpm and then when the vris kicked in it went pig rich. Yes it was hooked up to a wideband. And the shop that did it for me had done them before , on cars that there where no wiring diagrams for. This is the first car they had seen reject it. For the time bieng i am sourcing a true klze ecu, and plan to go full stand alone in the winter off season. |
