| I would sugest doing ALOT of reasearch before you think you know about them because there is alot too know. These cars have just about everything electrical fail eventually and maintenance isnt cheap either.... so like i said reasearch |

If you buy an 89-91 they have way less electrical problems than the 86-88...
The electrical problems in the 86-88 are absolute hell some times (though I have seen some with no problems at all)
Only thing in my 89-91 that is going is the wiper intermittent...but that goes on all of them eventually. |

I just got a second gen in march. I Love it! it has a few problems, but hey it's worth fixing... one of them pretty major. It keeps trying to overheat.
I found a great site after I bought mine. A little too late or I would likely have not bought an rx with cooling issues...
