STAY AWAY from MDG computers - Click HERE for Original Thread

DEVO
MDG will rip you off for as much as they can, they work on a point system, the more they rip you off the more points they get. if you were to walk into the store and ask for a focus system they'll take you over to a shitty comp that they have none of in store to put together for you, with the USB and ethernet conection covered up so that you'd have to "purchase it" but really it's just a scam to boost the price of the comp. They do that with network cards as well..... all of the computers come with an ethernet port even the laptops, and all the laptops come with wireless as well, but they'll try to sell them both to you.

My advice is to just stay away unless you know a whole shitload about computers, so you know when they're shitting you.

those of us who do know a lot about comps would stay away from them any ways, as most of us build our own rigs. sounds like you got burned by them

I unfortunatly worked there for awhile, I was one of the one's ripping people off. Everyone's gotta make a living, I had no choice.
And true enough most people do make their own rigs, those of you who do have enough money, not me unfortunately 600Mhz p3 with 512mb ram, it's shit but it was free from a friend.

heh.. I wouldn't buy an MDG even if they wheren't ripping ppl off. it's crap components, they used to be IPC.. dunno why they changed the name...

Custom all the way, or a good mid range or higher OEM, or shoot a custom OEM, like say a FS Cicero.. they're actually not bad, and all name brand crap inside.

Ya, as far as I'm concerned anyone dumb enough to fall for their cheezy marketing deserves to be ripped off.

You know you can get a nice rig for $299 from OEM Express, time to upgrade that PC bro.
