v8less' homepage has the top 10 fastest (known) imports in Alberta. I don't know about the fastest all out car though. I've seen high 8s at Bud Park, but I believe the car was from BC.

| All I can say is HOLY FUCK to the vette and the porsche hehe, does the slantnose have the stock engine in it? They're fast ass cars, the 930 just isn't as hot as the 911 though.... I'd love to talk to this guy about performance ideas.. anyone know how I can get in contact??? |

the 7 sec vette is from BC. The faste st Etown street car I've seen is Ryan Bell's Vette, Low 10's or maybe high 9s. I've seen it on the street a few times, once at the park on a sunday :)
The quickest import from here last year was Mitsuman's Talon, low 12s. |

The fastest street import from Edmonton to date was Brads 1995 TSI AWD.

The fastest import street car in full street trim with all the amenities present in Edmonton is propably Marcin but I don't know every car here in town and I doubt anyone does.
There are lots of sleepers in this town i bet! :rolleyes:
The fastest import street car in town this season comming will propably be the Skyline powered 240Z that just moved into St.Albert this week.
It has a single turbo , tubbed rear and the bigger engine with lots of mods.
Some rich ass bought it down south right at a car show.
I hope he wears diapers when he drives it. :fingersx: |

| I don't know for sure it can do 11.9 but the car is a 90 GTI with a 2001 1.8T engine with a porsche turbo and numerous other investments totalling about 30 grand. I have seen it so this part is not BS I took his word on the time. |

| Man! I love it when people tell me how fast their cars are or their friends cars, yet they have never taken it to the track! Lots of people get surprised when they take their car to the strip and acutally get a time slip. On the average the time is slower than what they think that it should be. We have all heard this story already. Time slip is what counts if you wanna brag about how fast you car is on the 1/4. B) |

From what I've seen, there is no disagreement there! For now, we have the top ten on the homepage to rely on, compiled of times from timeslips from both calgary and edmonton!

That is a very good point. Having an alltime fastest list is a good idea. PM me a copy of the timeslip or if you can't scan it, swing by the shop with the slip so I can see it and if worthy it will be added to the list.

That way credit is given where it is due. I know our own civic drag car needed slicks to make it into the top ten this year. It might have a hard time making into the top 20 without them.
I personally have more respect for a fast STREET DRIVEN street legal car with full interior than I do for a stripped tin can with slicks.

You wanna shut us down, do it at the track, with whatever you have. Our current race car is as stripped as it gets and runs slicks, we don't hide that fact. So bring whatever vehicle you OWN to the track and put your pride where your mouth is, or should I say finger's, because you won't even give your name so we can put a face to it, let alone say anything to anyone's face in person.

To my knowledge, and feel free to correct me, he made an 11.1 e.t. pass on M/T E.T. Streets, which fall outside the classification of street radial. I think he also made a very low 13 second pass on his drag radials, but I am awaiting confirmation. |

I never once knocked a car I didn't like and when I saw one blow the doors offa eric (phat performance) civic I instantly had respect for that guy.
