DVD burning programs - Click HERE for Original Thread

~S20o0~
I need help "backing up" one of my dvd's ;) and I can't for a couple of reasons:

1) It's Protected (copyright protection)
2) i have Roxio Easy CD and DVD creator 6 and when i try to use one of the programs (disc copier) to copy the DVD it says it can't because there is no blank dvd disc to burn to when there is a blank Sony DVD+R disc in there!!! my comp won't read it...no idea why

is there a program i can download to get around this? please help me.

Malaria
1. it could be the disc, some dvd burners have problems with the really dark discs, a tech at memory express told me this.
2. it could be that there is too much interferince(sp?), if u have any cold cathode lights or if the side of your case is open that could be the problem... also with sony drives they are very picky with the atapi drivers that are installed on the system... just google atapi and DL the right drivers (most up to date usualy)
3. make sure the IDE cables r in tight, dont push to hard on the motherboard but make sure its snug, do the samething with the drive... just push till snug... other then that... get the drivers from your motherboards manufacturer if all else fails...

Edit: also for a program... aquire dvd xcopy... pm me and i'll tell u were ;)

Use DVD Shrink or DVD Decryptor to rip it to your hard drive first.

dUNiT
use apollo cd copier

it will copy anything but xbox games

DVD Shrink/DVD Decryptor work better than any other program out there. Use them.

DVD Shrink is freeware.

DVD Decrypter you'll have to find a crack/serial for I believe.

most likely none of that will fix your problem, try a different brand of blank disk and check for a firmware update for your drive

ok well I got a new computer from boxing day and was trying to burn a dvd and the same thing happened to me again! computer thinks there is no blank disc...must be the copyright on the movie....well do you guys have a program that will burn the dvd straight to the blank dvd and get around this copyright B.S...? or Do I use the old programs still that were listed above....but I don't want to rip it to the harddrive.:dunno:

Kiddo
download ANYDVD from slysoft it will provide all the decryption for your DVDs and allow any dvd program to burn with it. I suggest using Alcohol 120% or CloneDVD or even NERO(must be using DVD Shrink with ANYDVD). If your just backing up dvds on your computer Use ANYDVD + DVD Shrink to back it up. To watch them just use Intervideo WinDVD.

EDIT:

TO 300z : just download AnyDVD turn the program on and use clone dvd or alcohol 120%
