I have NOT heard one good thing about Rogers. I always hear about bad reception, constant dropped calls, calls not going thru, etc. Calling my friends who have Rogers been nightmare.
Their plans are cheap but with the worst service out of all the providers, they sux ass...
btw, I have Bell so i'm not complaining :) |

| OH MAN i couldn't agree with u more...having a Rogers phone especially on campus is hell. After my contract ends (Sept) i'm out. I can't stand the shitty reception and some of their sevice. From what i see, the phones are only good to be used as coasters. I feel like chucking my phone thru the window of my Rogers branch. |

Have you ever thought of complaning to Rogers and tell them how much their service sux ass and that you want out becuz u're wasting $ even though your are on a contract? Wonder what they would do?
I had to admit, Rogers does have a good selections of phones (Nokia and Motorola), unlike Bell or Telus. |

I have had no problems whatsoever with my Motorola GSM phone and my contract with Roger's/AT&T.
Other than reception in big metal wharehouse style buildings like superstore and homedepot. |

| I've got a Rogers contract on a Motorola Timeport and reception is MINT... I called from Seattle and my mom said it was crystal clear like I was next door or something..... I've never ever had a dropped call in 3 years... the Timeport and all Motorola flip phones are HUGE on up-keep though.... they're wicked cool but get the extended warranty hehe. But I hear good things about Telus... anyone have Telus and had major problems? |

I have the Samsung SCH-N370 with Bell. Clarity and reception is fine. What I don't like is the option and feature the phone doesn't have. I should have stuck with my original plan to get the MOtorola V60 but the frigging persistent sales at Bell told me to go with Samsung. |

| dno't forget some phones are just lemons! Same with some service providers... really rogers isn't a service provider.... they don't give me good service, they've screwed up my bill everymonth since last august and they don't apologize or refund money and they have the worst reception in town, next to fido! I'll probably still stay with them though cause all cell phone places suck and from what I can see rogers is cheapest now! |

Hmmm, lesee, all of Grant MacEwan staff who need to keep constant communicae' with other college staff while they are away use cell phones.
They signed a BIG contract with Bell and Samsung phones and they all are unbelieveably unreliable.
I do understand how certain phones just don't take to certain networks at all.
I've been using the Sanyo 6000 Single band on the Telus Network for alittle over a year with little or no problems other than battery life :) |

I have both Fido and Rogers phone, and they are working fine with me...... Fido is the cheapest on long distance rates 10cents a minute bill by the second, and rogers have better coverage accross North America.
may be you just need a better phone..... |
