i need a need catalytic converter just wondering if anyone has a hookup or knows where i can get a good deal...gotta be a high flow one

I had a 2.5" high-flow carsound/magnaflow cat put in last May and it only lasted less than a year. It just crapped out on me two weeks ago and is rattling like crazy :( . I've read mixed reviews on carsound h-t and it appears that most of them fall apart after a year.
Anyway, I picked it up at Matrix for about $100 and had it installed at Alta Custom Exhaust on 50st. Dealt with a guy named Chico :bthumbup: . I think I'll end up going back to get a testpipe or a resonator instead of putting up with the rattle |

| sorry to hijack the thread guys, but what problems would i encounter if i buy a high flow cat? since my car is obd2 and dont really know what people referring to when they say cell problem. and how do u get around this? thanx |

| i need one really bad.......i usually go to economy but i wasnt sure if they sell high flow cats, thought someone might know where i can pick one up |

You'll pull a cel.. It's Just the emissions one.. thats basicly telling you that your cat is bad.. :P I'm pulling one.. it was annoying but now I'm used to it.. and also.. I've heard that you can plug up the o2 censor BEHIND the cat.. and just mount it were it will get o2.. and no cel.. but.. I'm worried about the o2 censor getting messed up..
AND BACK TO THE POST...
I went to Sherwood Exhaust to get my fixed.. it was WAY off due to a header install.. and.. IMO They did a WONDERFUL job.. and they let me stay in there with them.. so I could tell them what I wanted...
