Take Note, This Is A Dark Show So Ensure That You Bring Lighting For Your Display. It Does Have To Be Anything Fancy, A Couple Of Flood Lights Will Suffice. Power Will Be Provided... |

| What should i do so my battery doesnt die Darcy, bring a trickle charger? as for the reciever i can bring mine, ca't do speakers though, I only have towers, as for lighting, have any good ideas what i could do besides flood lights? |

Trickle charger should work. I think Eric has one but he'll be using it for the show. I have one too...
As for lighting, Eric's uses those halogen work lamps. I use that rope lighting and small flood style lights.
It's really up to you on what to use and what you want the lighting to focus on. Just go to places like Home Depot, Canadian Tire to get ideas...
I think I'll need to get a couple of those clamp lights for inside the tent so it's not so dark...
I have 2 small Koss bookshelf speakers. They might suffice... |

I'm not sure what time roll in is for SCN. I'm guessing like 2 or 3.
If we leave around 10am, that should work out well. Enough time to get to Calgary, check into the hotel, hit a car wash and then roll in to the venue. Be prepared to spend 5+ hours detailing your car, etc...
For those that will be staying the night in Calgary on the saturday, we will just park in the parking lot... I know Eric will be heading back after the show so those that don't want to hit the after party and pay for another night at the hotel can cruise back with him...

I would suggest doing as much as you can before we leave for Calgary like shampoo your engine, vacumm your interior, clean your interior, etc... That way, all you really need to do at the show is the fine detailing like clean your rims, polish your exhaust tip, wipe down your interior, wax eterior, etc...
I just cleaned mine for DTP so I hope all I need to do is vacumm, wipe down the interior, wash car and wax...
Make sure you bring some bug/tar remover. I drove over fresh oil on my way to Edmonton from my house and it was literally all over my car. The wheel wells and the bottom on my side skirts have been undercoated, literally... |

| if things start going as planned with me and travs engines we will have them back and possibly tuned for this weekend if not the mid of next week and we still might be able to through a video comp of our cars together with some help...again if things start going to plan |

heres the situation...
our rebuild kits were delayed by a month so bulider had to move on to another couple projects. now hes a couple weeks behind but SUPPOSEDLY has our motors booked for sometime this week to be finished (Just need bottom ends put back together). He said the startup & tuning would be done on a weekend following getting the motors back. We'll know friday if we'll be able to make it for this show. And hopefully my header is done friday too :rolleyes: |

Okay, we still need to determine what time to depart for calgary on Friday June 10th. I suggest something early afternoon like 12noon or 1pm.
We also need someone to bring a PS2 or XBox Gaming System c/w Games and Movies & Videos
I need someone to bring some speaker wire (Mike?).
We will also need to bring some power bars & extension cords.
Some of the other things you guys need to bring is a camping chair, FRS radio, and everything to clean and display your ride... |

I also have a wooden stand which I will have to take apart.

I also bring my 4 stantions and rope just in case...
I also bring some of the black canvas to string up around the tent to give it that "theatre" feel...
For mike, tyler & eric, here are some of the essential things you need to bring:
1) Chair
2) EPC T-Shirt or Hoodie (must be worn during the show
3) Anything that will assist in displaying your car such as modification list or specialty lighting
4) FRS so we can touch base with one another during the show |
