I just got an email from Kevin (Team SCP) and there has been a change for roll-in. Apparently, there is another event taking place at the same venue so we won't be able to roll-in to the venue until 9am saturday morning. Quite a change from the 5pm-10pm friday roll-in.
That doesn't leave us much time to roll-in (cause you know it will be crazy), detail the cars, set-up the booth, etc.... all before the doors open to the public at 3pm. I feel especially bad for the vendors who's booths take a very long time to set-up.
So, we need to determine if we want to head to Calgary on Friday or just cruise very very early on Saturday? I know Eric won't want to go Friday so I suggest that we leave first thing Saturday morning. We could leave at like 4am, drive to Calgary, hit the car wash and get to the venue before 9am and wait (sleep in the car is more like it).
Man, this totally sucks... It's going to be such a long long day, especially for those that will be driving back after the show...
I don't even think it's worth getting a hotel, heck, when are we even going to have a chance to check in, after the show?
I'm almost thinking of blowing this show off but whether we could get our money back, that's a different story... |

| Damn that sucks, it looked like it was going to be a fun weekend, but thats hardly anytime at all to set up, whats taking place on friday that makes it so we cant roll in |

I have no idea.
However, there will be a wash area available to wash cars but you just know it's going to be busy. Probably 1 hose... |

Not sure... They have already paid and there are no refunds so I hope they make it...
Everyone has been accepted so don't worry...
I'm inquiring about car washes in the immediate area that are open 24hrs. Beyond.ca have been a big help so far... |

and this does suck about roll-in. 4am is crazy early to drive to calgary. is the show only 1 day? and people are leaving sat night? |

I'm still thinking about going the day before. Atleast we won't have to go super early, either friday or saturday.
The only person that would be going down early saturday morning would be Eric. We will just have to meet him at the venue...
So, I guess we should look into getting a few rooms eh. I beleive the Best Western downtown is the hotel of choice. I'll post the information soon. |

youre telling me. im pretty sure these shows require an engine in your car :rolleyes:
our shit needs to be ready by this weekend otherwise it'll be a no-go. id like at least a week of cruzing around before i take it on the highway. |

I think that is for people who pay to get into the show.
Last year, they had a show special. 6 issues for $10 plus 3 past issues. Francine Dee signed my copy and gave me a full frontal polaroid :bthumbup: |
