A friend of mine is in edmonton and she needs her hood repainted. any suggestions on a reasonable place?

Same manufacturer body shops example - For fords bring it to Koch ford body shop (I wouldnt) but same manufacturers will be able to match the color the best. Herbers is alright too they seem to be able not too piss me off when they come back from there all the other body shops I ever dealt with always screw it up or do poor work. Herbers dont like to redo stuff so try them out they also give free quotes and estimates.

Custom Culture could do it and give you a reasonable price (As Jay is a reasonable guy).

As well, you could talk to Transform Spoilers, a sponser of this board. Several people here have had nothing but good things to say about body work (including paint) done there.

Nothing wrong with giving your opinion - it's actually more than welcome as you have some industry insight seeing where you work/what you do :)

Jay at Custom Culture can do it for a fair price.

Reflections Autobody is great. They do top notch work at a mid-high range price.

there is a great and resonable shop on the north east side of edmonton I don't remember the name but you go down yellowhead to 17st turn off at the t section don't turn right to go to 17 you turn left instead and go about two blocks. I think it is called pheniox autobody.

Herbers off of 170st repainted my front kit last year for $500(other person who hit me paid) and it looked pretty good. It had one imperfection and they wetsanded and polished it down no problem. There was a fair amount of dust throughout the bumper but no different then the work I've seen come out of most places. When I wanted to get my skirts painted a few months ago after I refinished them they werent interested in just painting a couple of pieces so I don't know if they will do just a hood.

I used to work at the herber's on 170.. they don't do very good work.

Well, as the previous posted said there is dust all in the paint.

That's the first sign of someone who doesn't do a good job. I've seen a car win Powerrama that was painted in a garage...

I got to walk around the work area, it kind of reminded me of a sweat shop with everyone being told to hurry, was it like that?
