it was a club member and they say it was racing. just saw 11pm news. :(
its the guy with the white 4th gen, white rims with polished lip, and kitted. he was the one with those rectangular bumper lights that has been at the last couple meets. it says he was ok though.

I knew it. Just saw the news... I know who it is but I aint going to say names or make any snap judgements. I really hope it wasn't street racing like the news is saying...
I hope that the 3 people in the other vehicle are okay. All 3 were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Regardless, if his ride is totaled then he ain't no member no more...
This is another perfect example why we shouldn't be racing on the street and why I nor the club condones such behaviour. The occasional spirited drive is fine but within reason... |

| anyone could have been going down that road going 10-20 over and hit those old people. old people didn't judge the speed of the lude. its pretty obvious when someone is going 40 clicks over the limit when your waiting to turn. |

hey guys thx for ur concern....i jus go out of the hospital yesterday and yes that was my lude on the news....first off jus cuz the news says i was racing doesn't mean i was.....i was turning left from 23ave on to parsons heading down apex mod. when this other car with a body kit followed me and sped up behind me and switched lanes so he almost beside me...i think he was trying to see who I was.....i was in no way racing this car since he was behind me and by then time he pulled up the accident occured......

nite2nite, if you are honest and you say that you weren't street racing, then I'll take your word for it. Just don't make a fool out of me nor the club.
I have had a member caught street racing in the past and that person was honest enough to inform me of the incident and requested that he be removed as a member from the club. He was thinking of the club before himself, that's guts...

ya that sounds logit i drive that road lots and i saw where the accident was...everyone knows that the only reason that accident was on the news was because it was a modified car with a chance of street racing so of course to make a story outta it there gonna say what catchs peoples ear...the media always makes somthing outta nothing and i think this is most likley the case here....
